Sea Breeze Prints

Sea Breeze is part oil painting and part photography.
It is a scene taken from one of my photographs in Manningtree, Essex of a little boat on the River Stour.
It is signed and a limited edition giclee print with a white border containing the title, signature and print number.

Below is a little poem I wrote about the scene:

A little wooden rowing boat,
tied to a weathered post,
gazes at the still estuary of Manningtree,
its paint weather worn and faded,
silent in the stillness.
The salty air whispers her secrets,
as jellyfish become stranded in the mud,
gulls circle overhead,
calling to the restless heart,
waiting for the moment to drift.
Patiently it holds its place,
buoyant dreams of adventure,
longing for the rise,
when it can move across the water once more,
through shimmering reflections,
and dance on waves of freedom.
