**ADORE**

Some emotions don’t need words.

*Adore* is a study of intimacy, vulnerability and quiet admiration. Created in charcoal, the figure emerges from light and shadow, allowing the viewer to complete the story for themselves.

I have always been fascinated by the way the human form can communicate emotion without expression or gesture. A subtle curve, a softened edge, a lost line disappearing into the paper can often say more than a face ever could.

The simplicity of charcoal allows me to strip everything back to what matters most — form, atmosphere and feeling.

This original drawing was inspired by the beauty found in stillness; those fleeting moments of reflection that often pass unnoticed.
