Meeting Acrylic

It is a lightly textured original acrylic painting on canvas, 80 x 60 cm. I called this piece ‘Meeting’ because it depicts a group of crows hanging out together. Growing up in the countryside I witnessed lots of gatherings of this kind. In my painting I tried to contrast these dark birds with light pink - blue sky. In this way crows stand out in all their glory as they deserve - it seems to me that crows never get enough credit for their beauty. Birds in general always fascinated me. They own the sky! The freedom they have makes their lifestyle desirable to most of us. That is what gave me inspiration for this painting. I tried to catch a little moment in life of these beautiful creatures. I hope you like it.
