Simple Northern Lights Reflections Scottish Highlands Oil

This minimal painting is inspired by the spectacular displays of the Northern Lights we regularly see on cold, dark nights here in the far North of Scotland. I have attempted to capture this wonderful spectacle in a number of my Paintings. This is a small painting, but I think it still packs a punch with its contrasting colours and reflections.
We are not too hampered by light pollution, so we can see them in all their glory on a crisp, dark winter's evening.
