Description

A brightly coloured painting of a pathway through a wood in autumn with a small grassy dell into which the sun is shining. I have given the colourful leaves a stippling effect using thick paint onto which the light will catch giving them a 3D effect.
I have left the sides of the birch board unpainted to show the beauty of the wood grain.
