Scarlet Gladiolus Oil

This is a close-up of one gladiolus stem with four flowers open and buds of more to come. I have put reds and pinks into the background to give an impression of there being more gladioli behind. I have also given an impression of a blue sky and green foliage, possibly waving in the wind. I hope the viewer sees it as a bright and cheerful painting, as I do.
It is painted on a canvas board that has hanging loops glued to the back and a hanging rope attached, so it can be hung as it is or put into a frame.
