Inspired by the ancient Halaf culture, this work brings back the silent power of a Neolithic idol, a symbol of endurance and memory. I imagined this figure not as an artifact locked in time, but as a living spirit that still observes us, holding traces of forgotten rituals and human resilience.
The layered textures and muted earth tones suggest erosion, age, and timelessness, while the gold and white accents speak of faith and continuity. It’s a reflection on what remains sacred in the modern world.
Created with professional artist-grade pigments on wooden panel, the piece carries both the weight of history and the intimacy of emotion.
Each artwork by Delia Zorzoliu is accompanied by an official i-CAC Certificate of Authenticity. The artist is a certified professional visual artist listed in the International i-CAC Index (France).
