Tit for Tat Drawing

This is the 2nd piece in my collection of ‘Interconnected Subconscious’. This emphasises the similarities between flora and fauna, such as humans. Firstly the ‘Tree of Life’ pattern doesn’t only appear amongst plants, but can even be found in the respiratory system if humans. Our airways also start with a wide initial ‘trunc’ or the trachea, and then recurrently divides into smaller and smaller branches, I.e. the bronchi and then bronchioles. The other common aspect is here drawn between the human fetus and the seedling embryo. Both are surrounded by protective layers to protect the fragile developing embryo.
