Description
Currently on exhibition in Castle Arts centre in Frodsham until June 26.
This small painting beautifully depicts the waterfall at Cheesden Lumb Mill, where water cascades gracefully through the arch of ancient mill ruins. The ruins, once a testament to industry, are now softened by nature's touch, with ivy and moss creeping over the stone, adding a sense of timeless beauty. The waterfall, with its gentle yet powerful flow, seems to transform the old industrial structure into a harmonious part of the natural landscape. This scene powerfully conveys the idea that nature has the remarkable ability to reclaim and elevate even the most weathered, industrial remnants, turning them into something breath-taking.
