Artistic background

I am an intuitive painter, who creates vibrant, bold works that highlight the beauty of imperfection through visible layering, expressive brush work and mark-making. My painterly style, use of line, exploration of colour and shape are defining elements in my work. My inspiration comes from my emotions, surroundings, nature and travels.
Then I mix it with my imagination using a pallet of bright colours and expressive energy. Detail seems so personal and deliberate to me; it’s like a secret shared between the creator and the beholder who cares to look closely enough.


I share my life between England and Portugal as sunlight is a vital source of inspiration for me.
I've done many art exhibitions in England and Portugal and I'm always involved in creative projects. Some of my pieces are in private collections in the UK, Portugal and in the United States.
