Description
Beauty From My Garden is an original portrait of Dahlia, a magenta flower.
Harvey, my border collie, walks me along an avenue in Pontefract. By chance, I catch sight of a beautiful dahlia across the road. I decide to photograph it; however, it is a considerable distance for a good photo. Nevertheless, I will try it because the flower says, "please take a photo; you won't be disappointed!".
The flower was right, and so I did it!
Later I used the picture as a reference for this painting!
I should call the painting The Beauty From Ny Neighbours Garden, but I leave the title without the neighbour. It is simpler that way. Am I right?
