JayVik's Glorious Evolution Oil

Characters "Jayce" and "Viktor" from Emmy nominated, animated series "Arcane" are depicted in their final moments within this mixed media painting. The two figures themselves are in oils, with the background also mostly consisting of oils too but with a lot of overlapping gouache and gold acrylic to truly bring out the otherworldly atmosphere. Along the bottom of the canvas, gold geode hand-drawn text reads "Glorious Evolution", a quote from Viktor that has an adaptive meaning throughout the second and final season of the show. These two characters share a deep bond, often hinted at being romantic, I wanted to truly encapsulate the power of their ties to one another. Under different coloured lights, different colours will pop out from the painting, due to the acrylics within the background being UV activated paints :)
