Description
Achieve Survival is a complementary piece to Celebrate The End of Your Life. In juxtaposition, this piece is displayed directly above and represents the recovery aspects of eating disorders rather than senses of finality and hopelessness. The instant warm, ethereal imagery is used to portray how recovery is mostly over-congratulated to stray away from ever talking about the darker points of ED's, though the central figure has open wounds and Frankenstein related eichenography to comment on the fact that survivors are often left with life-lasting physical conditions such as osteoporosis, many scars and bodily pain. It definitely isn't spoken about enough. Many pieces of eichonography within this piece also heavily contrast Celebrate The End of Your Life in order to re-emphasize the severity and show there is still light within the dark.
