An Original Drawing of a Singing Robin is a bird portrait of a chanting songbird. I wanted to paint or draw a robin one day, and as this chanting bird came along to my bird feeder, I grabbed my camera and used this photograph as a reference for this drawing.

Materials: oil-based Caran D'Ache, Luminance coloured pencils, Faber Castell Polychromos coloured pencils, Winsor & Newton professional fixative spray for drawings

Style: realism

Size: 32 x 26 x 0.2 cm, the artwork itself is 29.5 x 22 cm; this leads to a clean margin around the image as a preparation for a mounting mat
