The weather was good and bright I went on a sketching expedition to have a look at local fields after ploughing and before the winter wheat started to turn the fields green. The fields are quite pale in colour the soil is chalky and there are a lot of flints. Some of the old local houses have flint decoration added into the brick. On my return home to the studio this is the painting I composed. ’.Ploughed Fields’ is painted on a deep canvas and presented ready to hang unframed. Signed in pencil bottom right, titled signed and dated on the reverse. Shipped carefully packed in a box, enclosed with an artist's certificate. dispatched with a track and trace identity.
