Love Nr 4 in the Maria Magdalena Series

Maria Magdalena Series – Fourth Painting
Original Artwork

After surrender…
After awakening…
After revelation…
There is Love.

Love is the fourth and final painting in my Maria Magdalena Series — a four-part spiritual journey exploring devotion, initiation, illumination, and finally, embodiment.

This painting was not planned.

I had been struggling with another work on the canvas. Nothing felt aligned. And then — in a moment of surrender to my Higher Power — I painted over it.

What emerged did not feel laboured.
It felt given.

The brush moved with freedom. The colour deepened. Gold leaf caught the light. And Love simply appeared.

This piece carries warmth and gravity. Though the photograph shows deeper tones, in reality the light moves more softly across the surface.

Love is not sentimental here.
It is powerful. Grounded. Alive.

Medium: Mixed media with gold leaf on canvas
Size: 50 x 50 cm
Framing: Presented in a simple gold tray frame
One original only

For the collector who understands that Love is the highest form of spiritual strength.

Short Biography – Why This Series Was Created

The Maria Magdalena series was born from a deeply personal calling.

In 1946, my father gave me the name Maria Magdalena — long before she was widely recognised as a close companion of Jesus, a spiritual equal, or a high initiated priestess of the Essene tradition. At that time, she was still largely portrayed through misunderstanding and distortion.

As I have grown, painted, and walked my own spiritual path, I began to feel the quiet strength of that name echoing within me. This series is my way of honouring that lineage — not as dogma, but as remembrance.

Sacrifice is the beginning of that remembering.
