Silver Doc Marten Boot Pastels

One of my Doc Marten boots, an original drawing in pastels.

I have signed this art and it is unframed.

The size is 30x40cm.

I roughly sketched out the boot onto the pastelmat card with a white charcoal pencil.

I have used a yellow pan pastel for the background, a sponge was used to spread the yellow pastel around the boot.
I then used a pastel sponge to cover in the boot with silver/grey pan pastels. Pastel pencils were used for the small details on the boot.

The boot is on Clairefontaine pastelmat card, I find using this card best as the pastels cling better to it. I have left a border, this ensures when touching the art for framing you don’t touch the artworks, although this has been fixed with a spray, the art can still be smudged and damaged.

Postage : Royal Mail second class, the art will be wrapped in a thick crystal clear sleeve and posted in a hard backed envelope for protection.
