This oil painting is a portrait of one of my favourite singers, Chappell Roan, in an outfit she wore whilst touring in 2024 with loads of beaded, fairy-like accessories. Some of the more vibrant pink sections on this painting actually glow under UV, bright blue or purple light! There's a strong emphasis on texture within this piece and it creates a warm, summer-evening atmosphere. The canvas had been primed with gesso and has been varnished :)
