It is a composition I had in mind for a long time. A woman of an uncertain age, with red-golden hair tied in a loose bun, with her back to the viewer, wearing an elegant evening dress of black lace and holding a bouquet of pink roses, that seems to have particular meaning for her. I wanted to create an aura of mystery and fascination, where the viewer can weave his/her own narrative.
