Description

I often go to Italy and I do like pizza. However, more than that, as an artist I was captivated by the precise and graceful movement of the baker, his concentration on the task and the warm glow of the fire coming from the oven, reflecting on the young man’s face and apron. Using warm colours I was aiming at depicting this heartwarming scene…preparing delicious food for us in a masterful way. This is also a celebration of artisans whose work and professionalism is not always appreciated.
