Smuggler's Cove Acrylic

I painted Smuggler’s Cove imagining the kind of place you’re not quite supposed to know about — where boats arrive quietly, stories are exchanged in low voices, and the sea keeps everyone’s secrets.

As I worked on it in my studio, I could almost hear the creak of ropes, the splash of hidden oars, and the wind doing its best to look innocent while the sky gathers its drama above.

This painting is a little nod to mystery, mischief, and the joy of hidden places — and to that part of us that still loves a good secret.
