Sunset from Werneth Low Oil

The magical hour in golden colours. The artist love her sunset walks o her local hills and this is one of many of her work representing views from her walks. The sun was setting slowly into low layer of fine mist which helped to create this golden vibe. The valley is almost invisible and just local hills raise above the mist. the tree and bushes make a lovely line and silhouette to contrast with the lightness. There are also small patches of blue sky remaining on the top of the painting to contrast with the warm shades of the sun glow, yet even the blue is slowly turning to match the rest of the landscape.
