Description
The paper is 22.4 x 14 cm, but the actual artwork is a bit smaller at 18.5 x 14 cm. In inches, that's 9 x 5.5 for the paper and 7.4 x 5.5 for the artwork.
The artwork comes unframed. You can choose to frame it with the margin and colour charts, or leave them out if you prefer.
The framed picture is just an example to show how the artwork might look on your wall.
This new piece is a colourful pencil sketch capturing the calm beauty of the River Aire in North Yorkshire.
I used acid-free paper and professional coloured pencils for this sketch.
A bright green hill draws your attention first, with its grassy texture suggesting early spring. Above it, a gentle orange-brown hill appears, showing the landscape changing to warmer earth tones as winter fades.
On the distant hill, groups of trees stand in silhouette. The river runs along the bottom of the scene, reflecting the blue sky and scattered clouds on its smooth surface.
Along the riverbank, bushes and small trees are still bare from the early spring cold. They add fine detail and a quiet feeling of waiting.
The whole scene feels peaceful and atmospheric, showing nature's renewal and the gentle colours of the new season.
