Artistic background

My work sits somewhere between dreaming and waking. This series comes directly from my own dreams and nightmares. These are not ideas I have made up. They are things I have seen, felt, and experienced while asleep. I have very vivid dreams. Sometimes I realise I am dreaming while I am still in it. Other times I return to the same places and find that they have changed, as if time has passed without me. The people shift, the environments evolve, and I am there witnessing it.

I have always been drawn to the human mind and how we experience reality. Living with severe dyslexia has shaped that curiosity even more, pushing me to find different ways to express what is happening internally. I use digital and AI-supported tools to help translate these experiences as accurately as I can. It is not about taking shortcuts. It is about capturing the detail properly and doing justice to what I have seen.

The pieces you see here begin with my nightmares. The ones that stayed with me, the ones that unsettled me long after I woke up. They are intense, sometimes uncomfortable, but they are honest. This work is not random or generic. It is a visual record of something very real to me.

This body of work is a part of me. Not all of me, but a part that I cannot ignore. What you are seeing is the closest depiction I can offer of what exists in my mind when I dream.
