Consider the Lilies of the Field Acrylic

This beautiful framed painting was inspired by the bible passage Matthew 6:25-34 which draws attention to how God clothes the flowers of the field with beauty yet we are loved by Him so much more so He will provide and care for us even more.
Showing five small sections, the painting was painted on a strip of canvas in an abstract style. Using ranunculus as a flower shape and style flowers were etched into some areas, some gold metallic leaf applied in a few areas, and then flowers stitched into the painting using gold coloured thread. The painted strip of canvas was then mounted onto a painted narrow edge canvas, which has texture on the surface from the layers of paint applied. It was then finished by being framed in floating canvas frame that has an ivory coloured finish to it.
