Have Hope Acrylic

‘Have Hope’ is the fifth and final painting in the Lilies of the Field Series. Just as the first in the series, this is also framed in a satin ivory floating frame.
With a simple colour palette of blues, pinks and gold, this painting has flowers in the style of the ranunculus flower. These are shown either with a painted outline, etched, stitched using gold thread, or with gold foiling. Different aspects of detail is seen from different angles and with the change of light.
It is painted on a narrow edge canvas with the painting continuing around the edge, and then framed in a floating canvas frame.
