Clothed With Splendour Acrylic

This smaller canvas follows on from the ‘Consider the Lilies of the Field’ painting, also inspired by the bible passage Matthew 6:25-34 which draws attention to how God clothes the flowers of the field with beauty yet we are loved by Him so much more so He will provide and care for us even more so.
Using the ranunculus flower for the shape and style flowers have been painted in gold paint and also stitched using gold coloured thread. Toward the centre of the painting an area has been ‘framed’ giving the appearance of a broader view of a landscape with a field of flowers, whilst the surrounding area gives the more detailed close up view of flowers in a field.
It is painted on a deep edge canvas with the painting continuing around the sides.
