Description
This is a third painting in a series inspired by the Bible passage Matthew 6:25-34 which encourages us not to be anxious about all of tomorrow’s needs. The flowers in the field are clothed with such beauty yet they neither toil nor spin to achieve this; God clothes the fields with beauty so how much more will He do for us when He loves us so much more.
The colour palette used has pink tones and neutral tones. There is some texture within the paint surface, including etchings of flower outlines. With the ranunculus flower as inspiration for the shape and style, flowers have been stitched into the surface of the canvas using rose gold and gold coloured threads.
It has been painted on a deep edge canvas with the painting continuing around the sides.
