A Cluster of Sunflowers Pastels

A beautiful cluster of yellow sunflowers which I photographed from a place called Wisley Gardens in Surrey.

This is an original pastel drawing and has been signed by myself.

I drew the sunflowers by very carefully sketching onto the card roughly first before using soft pastels, pencils and pan pastels to create the back ground and the flowers in detail. The card I have used is called Clairefontaine Pastelmat card. This is my preferred choice of card, I find the pastels cling better to it.

I have left a border surrounding the artwork, this is so it is easier to hold when framing, because with pastels you can damage the art if touched.
Although the art has been fixed, it is still susceptible to damage.

I recommend framing with a mount so that the art is not touching the glass.

I will post the art Royal Mail second class, this will be wrapped in a protective cellophane and will be posted in a hard backed envelope for extra protection.
