A Kingfisher Watercolours

A colourful Kingfisher painted using watercolours. The size is 14x10inches.

I have used white watercolour paper and I have signed this piece of art, which is unframed.

I sketched the Kingfisher outline lightly with a pencil first. I mixed up the colours and painted very loosely the underbelly of the bird first, gradually giving more depth to the brightness of the colours. A very light wash of blue was painted on initially, I then added more colourful tones and then I gradually added darker tones to define areas of the feathers.

Postage - Royal Mail second class - I will wrap the art in a crystal clear sleeve and then place the art in a hardbacked envelope for extra protection.
