An experimental oil painting using rags and minimal brushwork. I used autumnal ochres and magentas against soft greens to depict the soft swaying of trees, and all beneath the expanse of a luminous blue sky.

With textured and expressive brushstrokes, and an ethereal use of colour, I think the painting evokes a sense of serenity, movement, and the quiet peace of the natural world.
