Artistic background

I am completely self taught, but have had solo exhibitions throughout the country and have taught art in Lincolnshire and Leicestershire. I have sold artwork in USA and Europe.

Hello and welcome to my gallery.

Most of my artwork is mixed media. A blend of acrylics and collage to paint dreamy, even surreal, still life. From time to time I do use oils to paint trees and the odd landscape because the subject and medium blend so well.

I am completely self taught, often taking long breaks between painting so I can reinvent myself. I feel the most important factor of being an artist is the ability to keep on experimenting.
