Mixed media combination of acrylics and vintage papers.

A busy still life with lots to see. Perhaps bordering on the surreal. I love to use vibrant acrylics that contrast with each other, and here I use various textures of paper that make up a mysterious background, a dreamlike vision of a bookcase, a dusty corner of a long forgotten house.

My fascination is with the not so perfect. In a lot of my work you will see the fractured and the broken, still life arrangements of bits and pieces, texture and colour. I also like to introduce the vibrancy of fruit, and here a fish which seems to fit the imaginative scene.
