Brown Hares Boxing in Spring Pastels

This is an original hand drawn pastel drawing of two Boxing Hares.

The art is unframed and has been signed by myself.

I drew the hares carefully first by sketching them both before using the pan pastels, pastel pencils and soft pastels to create the background and hares in detail. The card I have used is called Clairefontaine pastelmat card. This is my preferred choice of card, I find the pastels cling better to it.

I have left a border surrounding the artwork, this is so it is easier to hold when framing, because with pastels you can damage the art if touched.
Although the art has been fixed, it is still susceptible to damage.

The size is 30x40cm, this includes the border. I recommend framing with a mount so as the art is not touching the glass.

I will post the art Royal Mail second class, this will be wrapped in a protective cellophane and will be posted in a hard backed envelope for extra protection.
