Sketch of River Aire in North Yorkshire Drawing

I created a series of small sketches of the River Aire, North Yorkshire. Here is the first one. I tried to capture its serene beauty. Using colored pencils, I depicted a bright blue sky that echoes down into the river, where the blue reflections complete the harmonious scene. On the opposite bank, I illustrated a gentle green hill, with a few charming houses perched atop. This sketch reflects the peacefulness I felt while observing the landscape.

The artwork measures 27 x 14 cm (size of the paper); however, the work itself is smaller, 17 x 13 cm. In inches: 10.75" x 5.5" (6.75" x 5.25").
