Description:
Structural Bird 01 belongs to Structural Diagrammatic Expressionism, a new art movement founded by Delia Zorzoliu that merges civil engineering with emotional symbolism. It transforms structural diagrams into metaphors of endurance, balance, and transformation.
In this composition, a bird becomes both a living structure and a bearer of hidden forces. The Mohr’s Circle, reimagined as a radiant sun, symbolizes the equilibrium between stress and harmony. On the wing, a bending moment diagram transforms into a delicate feather, its Mmax echoing the limit of strength and flexibility. Reinforcement bars (φ) trace across the body like inner skeletons of memory, while the eye’s pupil, shaped as a steel section, captures the essence of observation and endurance. A subtle elasticity Young’s Modulus graph emerges across the chest, a poetic metaphor for adaptation and transformation under load.
Created with professional acrylics, pencils and Posca the piece is sealed with UV-protective fixative and a matte professional varnish.
It is unframed, signed on the front, signed and stamped on the back, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
Ships directly from the artist’s studio, professionally packaged.
